An insulin pump start package costs $500. This includes the initial half day setup and commencement, a follow up appointment either in person or via telehealth, one month’s worth of email/phone contact as required and all administration costs. The initial appointment is set to a half day as they usually require education around Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and also hybrid closed loop therapy. We’d like to ensure you are confident in your use of the system, and not anxious or uncertain when you leave your appointment.
Omnipod Dash
As Omniod does not link with a continuous glucose monitor and has no Hybrid Closed Loop technology, these appointment require less education and time. An Omnipod Dash pump start package will cost $450 ($300 initial appointment and $150 for the follow up). This includes the setup and commencement appointment, a follow up appointment either in person or via telehealth, one month’s worth of email/phone contact as required and all administration costs.
